Elementary

I’ve had over 8 years experience DJ-ing for Elementary Schools. I’ve done Jog-A-Thons, Fundraisers, Field Days, Graduations, Glow Dances, Socials, Raffle & Prize Give-a-Ways, you name it- I’ve been there for providing a fun and energetic environment for those little ones. I love to interact with them throughout the Dance/Social and give them the best time! I’m always happy to take requests and incorporate them into the evening. Here’s a list of some of the following activities I do with them:

-Macarena, YMCA, Cha-Cha-Slide, Chicken Dance, Hokey Pokey & Baby Shark.

-Conga Line around the gym/common area

-Freeze Dance

-Musical Chairs

-Hula Hooping “Contest”

-Best “Robot, Floss, Running Man,” Dances

-Jumping Jacks!

-Sing-a-Longs

-The Limbo

MIDDLE

This age is fun because they’re right in the “middle” quite literally and they’re figuring out how to still have fun and be cool 😎

I like to play musical chairs with these kids, we do the Limbo, and we do group circle dance offs! Of course we do the group dances like:

-Whip Nae Nae

-Cupid Shuffle

-Cha Cha Slide

-Macarena

-YMCA

-Conga Shake (Conga Line)

They love to sing a long to group favorites like Justin Bieber’s “Baby”, “Timber” by Kesha, and many many more fun songs like “Call Me Maybe.”

Request List Available on the table with a pen and notepad.

HIGH SCHOOL

These groups are fun because I get to mix music all night long and give them the best of the best of what’s hot and current now and what’s been hot for the last 25 years. These kids are up on the new stuff and I have clean versions of most of the music that they want. I’m always happy to take requests before hand via email or I set out a note pad and pen for them during the dance.

High Schoolers generally do their own thing when they have a dance, but I’m always sure to introduce myself and let them know when we are going to slow it down for a slow dance. They typically take off with Dance Off’s of their own and I stay hyped with them.
